General Information
The Economic & Commercial Departments of the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate-General in Dubai work to promote the Netherlands and specifically Dutch business in the United Arab Emirates. We have access to a broad network and our permanent presence gives us a wealth of knowledge about the country and local business environment.
We act as a first point of contact for any Dutch company looking to do business in the UAE as well as local companies that wish to do business in the Netherlands. We can provide you with an initial overview of the working environment and business practices which will serve to ease your entry into this market as well as initial economic information about various sectors across the UAE.
To achieve these goals we work closely with organisations both locally and in the Netherlands. Among our partners you will find the Netherlands Business Council in Dubai, the Benelux Business Group in Abu Dhabi, the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), the Agency for International Business and Cooperation (also known as the EVD) in the Netherlands, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Management & Food Quality (LNV), along with Chambers of Commerce and trade associations in the Netherlands.
