Queen's Day : official reception

This year’s Queen’s day celebrations started off with the official reception, held this time at the Ambassador’s residence. Some 70 selected guests from Abu Dhabi and Dubai came to lunch; they were drawn from government, the diplomatic corps, business and the cultural sector. H.E. Minister Al Quttami (Education) represented the UAE government and graciously accepted a smal gift from the two youngest guests: Daniel and Sophie dressed in traditional Dutch costume. The reception was jointly hosted by the Ambassador Michels and Consul-General (Dubai) Van Spronsen.
